Throughout my 10 years at the hotel, I have had the opportunity to work in different departments at various stages, these included; accounts, reception, conference & banqueting, grill bar and further enhanced my knowledge of the hotel operations and led a promotion to my role now as a Duty Manager.
Most recently the Mc Keever Group enrolled me on a course to achieve my level 4 certificate in leadership & management. This was over a six month basis were I was given the time in my working week to attend the classes required. On top of this there are ongoing training courses within the hotel which include: world host, ICT, First Aid, Manual Handling. Going forward I hope to follow on from my level 4 certificate through the McKeever Hotel Group.
It is alot more personable with everyone on first name basis from kitchen porters to the managing director.
