As a hands on Managing Director, Eugene McKeever MBE, is the passion, driving force and inspiration behind the McKeever Hotel Group, which was built when his career began in the hospitality industry 44 years ago.
Eugene McKeever started working part-time at Corr’s Corner at the tender age of 12. At 15 he left school to become a full time chef, working his way to head chef, a position he held for 11years. Whilst working full time Eugene completed his catering exams, hospitality management exams and a postgraduate in business studies at University of Ulster. In 1986 Eugene said good bye to Corr’s Corner, to start his own restaurant in Randalstown.
Seven years later he got the opportunity to purchase Corr’s Corner and he returned in 1993, this time as the owner. In 1997 he made the major decision to add 30 bedrooms to the property, turning it from a roadhouse into a hotel.
Twelve years later the McKeever now own 5 hotels in Northern and Southern Ireland including; Corrs Corner Hotel, Dunsilly Hotel in Antrim, the Adair Arms Hotel in Ballymena,Dillons Hotel in Letterkenny and with the newest addition of Dunadry Hotel in Antrim.
